I'm up with a tummy ache. I miss being able to tell my mom my belly hurts. If I tell Steve he tells me to roll over and go back to sleep. I have to be full on blowing chunks to get any type of sympathy from him. This sounds horrible but I can't wait for the moments when Noah doesn't feel well so I can baby him. I know how just going and crawling in my parents cool(temp) bed was the best feeling.
I have about 5 bags to put out on the porch tomorrow that I have either freecyled or put on craigslist for free. Check out Freecycle.org that's were I get rid of most of my clutter. If no one wants it there or I want rid of it fast then I post it on Craigslist for free. You'll be amazed what people take. I'm getting rid of the baby store hangers, some shirts, some shoes, some toys, some purses, a lot of Noah's old clothes.
Speaking of Noah's clothes. I have space bagged so much of his stuff. I am in love with them. No more bulky plastic bins. I have so many of those now. They will be good when we move again but for storing his hand me downs they are amazing. Plus I'm saving all the older clothes that I either love or could be used for a boy or girl.
I will post pictures later of our Turkey card making.
Today I have to
- Deposit checks
- Figure out why we double payed Nationwide and get house payment lowered
- buy more space bags for the clothes the summer clothes and comforters
- check out small envelopes for cards
- buy stamps
- start crock pot for dinner
- Noah's speech at 215?
- clean the house boooo
I haven't mentioned about Noah's speech. I taught Noah baby signing just so he wouldn't be so frustrated with life and me. Well for some reason he's not been talking we noticed this at his 18month well child check. So in Sept we started speech therapy. So far so good. The therapist says there's nothing wrong with him he's just a quiet observer. He's now doing all his animal sounds, has picked up more words, and more signing. Right now I'm working on shapes and colors.
Here's a list of what he did in June of 2008
Saying - mama, dada, go, kitty, gracie, bad, hi and really I think that's it I will have to go look back at paper work. But he was supposed to have 10-15 words then
Signing - eat, drink, more, baby, sleep, drive, up and there was more but it wasn't much
Now he's
Saying - mama, dada, kitty, go, ball , bubble, bad, eat, gracie, hey/hi, cheese, keys, down
Animal sounds - cow, chicken, duck, cat, dog, horse, sheep, elephant, snake, lion, alligator, monkey, frog
Signing - eat, drink, more, baby, please, help me, play, drive, dirty, ball, cookie
he also makes a pee-u stinky noise and waves his hand in front of his nose when he pees, poops, or farts. It's really cute!
A lot of people told me he'll talk when he wants to talk but I don't care. Steve's parents told me about his cousin who didn't really talk until she was 3. And once she entered school she needed speech therapy. So if I can give him the extra push then so be it.
